Nadia Chervnsik’s Work Ethic

Nadia began tutoring sessions with Benedictine Tutors during third grade when her parents struggled to help her with Common Core Math, but she continued with all subjects throughout her school career. After schools were closed due to COVID-19, she applied to the Math & Science Academy (MSA) at UTRGV and was accepted. The MSA is an award-winning program where 11th and 12th-grade high school students learn from UTRGV faculty, alongside UTRGV students, and gain invaluable university experience with heightened supervision and guidance than traditional UTRGV students receive. The MSA differs from other state-supported math and science schools in that it offers students the opportunity to complete two years of college credits concurrently with their last two years of high school.

How working with Benedictine Tutors ultimately helped Nadia

“Benedictine Tutors’ tutoring has helped me with all my classes, especially writing and math. Thank you for encouraging me to work hard to get ahead. Without Benedictine Tutors, I wouldn’t have started college as almost a Junior.”

Areas where Nadia saw the Biggest Improvement

“My writing skills greatly improved with the help of the tutors.”

When asked, “What was your best memory of Benedictine Tutors”, this is how Nadia responded:

“Mrs. Gina Riojas was amazing, because she is so sweet, caring and gives great advice in achieving my potential.”

What does Nadia have planned for the future?

“My plan is to graduate from the College of Charleston, intern with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and work in the art or music industry.”

We at Benedictine Tutors wish Nadia Chervnsik the best of luck and great success in his future endeavors!

Congratulations Nadia, we are so very proud of you!
